The apartment had stained bedding, a strange smell, a cracked ceramic tile, and poor air conditioning. There was terrible street noise, as though everything was passing right by me. The kitchen had no salt, sugar, coffee, tea, or paper towels. We were there for seven nights, brought all those things, and left them behind. I think there may have been other missing items too. I left a review on WhatsApp and on Google Maps, but they sent a link for a different apartment. This is the one at this address. Book it, and they won’t give it to you or take it back. I still haven’t got it back. Should I ask? Why?

We spent more than four hours outside the building, unable to reach either the property or Booking.com, and there was no way to contact anyone. I usually don’t leave negative reviews because people need to work and earn money, and everyone can make mistakes or be unprepared. This property felt like a complete scam. After repeated attempts to get in touch, two women staying there came home and told us they’d had the same problem. Booking.com took several hours of calls; then the property emailed them a €100 deposit. Once we got inside with a code, the studio apartment was in terrible shape and dirty. The air conditioning didn’t work, so there was no heating at all. They said they’d find us another place the next day, even though we’d lose three days of our paid stay. I don’t leave negative reviews, as I said, but these people deserve one. Thanks to Booking.com.

There’s a handy, affordable supermarket right downstairs, and a bus stop directly across the street, so getting around is easy. The neighborhood is popular, reasonably clean, and not too shabby. The third-floor apartment was pretty tidy. It’s not quite downtown, but you can get there in 15 minutes. It’s fine, especially for a short stay.

The place is well located, good value, and I’d definitely come back. Honestly, I’d give it 10 out of 10 if it weren’t for three small problems: the ceramic hob was cracked but still worked perfectly, I couldn’t get the TV channels to work, and the microwave smelled as if something had burned inside. That smell spread through the whole house.
