I felt frightened and frustrated by how the receptionist manager treated me. Around midnight, while I was showering in the female bathroom, he came in. I asked him three times to leave, but he stayed for a couple of minutes. Two friends of mine were in the bathroom too and saw what happened. When I came out, he was waiting behind the door and started shouting that I couldn’t shower after midnight because it was written on the wall. I hadn’t seen or read that notice, so I didn’t know. I asked him to calm down, but he kept going, and I went back to my room. The next day I complained about him. As I was leaving the hostel, he told me I was lying about what happened. My friends witnessed it, and I had no reason to lie. I don’t want him to lose his job, but I hope he learns to respect and treat customers better. An employee should never enter a female bathroom when someone is inside, or wait behind a customer’s door to shout at them. Luckily nothing worse happened to me, but it could have.

The city names on the doors and keychains were such a fun, creative touch. Maybe Podgorica will be there next time, haha! I had a great stay at Malaga Stop Hostel, and the ladies at reception were really friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome.

The rooms, location, and facilities were great, but all the flies were a big letdown. There were lots of them on the wall while I was showering in the men’s section.

Everything was fine, and the woman in charge of the hostel was really caring. She helped me with everything, even booking a rynair flight ticket for me. Thank you, see you!

I felt safe here and liked the place. The walk from centro alameda trainstation takes 15 minutes. I met some cool people travelling solo too. It’s always fun trying somewhere new to stay.
