We spent six comfortable, pleasant nights at Hostel Moscatel. The location worked well for visiting Malaga, and buses 3, 8 and 11 run frequently. Nearby there are lots of shops, restaurants and coffee shops, plus a delicious cake shop!! Our room was bright and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, even lending us a kettle and two cups. The disposable slippers they provided were a surprise bonus.

We had another lovely visit and plan to stay here whenever we're in Malaga. The staff are kind, the rooms are clean and safe, and the location is great.

A lovely small hotel, close to the beach, shops, and some great restaurants and bars.

Peaceful, clean, and good value, with comfortable beds. The location is great too. I'd recommend it.

6/10
The location has some upsides: it's close to the beach and the neighborhood is quiet. It's a little far from the city center, though buses connect it well, and the price wasn't too high. My room was tiny, with just a bed, wardrobe and one nightstand. Reception was only staffed from 8 to 21, and the staff spoke little English and were only moderately helpful. There was no AC, though luckily it wasn't midsummer.
