We came back to this host for a second stay, and he was just as helpful, sharing plenty of useful tips. The apartment worked well for our family beach trip: three bedrooms plus a living room, with room for up to two families with children. Every room had air conditioning, and beach towels and a sun umbrella were ready for us. There was also a great washing machine and a large fridge. With corona, we cooked at home several times, and the big, inexpensive supermarket just around the corner made that easy. There’s a nice cafe for breakfast, and the beach is about an eight-minute walk away. The bus and metro stops are five minutes on foot. It’s a very Spanish neighborhood. We also enjoyed having Netflix on the big 49 inch TV.

With three children, two teens and a toddler, we had plenty of room and found everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine to a hoover, iron, dryer and bed linen. The apartment was ideal for our family, and parking for both our cars was always available. The owner was easy to reach and went out of his way to make the stay comfortable. He suggested places to go, offered help whenever we needed it, and speaks English and Spanish, so communication was no problem. The neighborhood felt safe, the neighbors were quiet, and shops, pharmacies and takeaways were only minutes away. There’s a Russian shop five minutes away, along with pharmacies, supermarkets and Lidl. Buses stop right by the home, and parks and playgrounds are nearby. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the city center, or you can stroll along the beach past children’s playgrounds. Buses run frequently and cost €1.3 one way. The apartment was simply great, the owner helped with everything, we needed for a comfortable stay, suggested tours and told us about the city. When we called, he was available. The neighborhood was nice, a Russian shop five minutes away, pharmacies, supermarkets, Lidl, buses by the house and parking. playgrounds and parks are nearby. The owner speaks-Russian, and-Spanish and-English!

We spent most evenings together in the spacious living room, sharing stories from our city walks, and there was plenty of room for all six of us. The three separate bedrooms gave everyone a place to sleep. We arrived easily and found all the basics, including a hairdryer and iron. Even the pots and pans were there, though we didn’t use them. The owner met us at the airport and helped us get to the apartment, which we really appreciated. We hadn’t planned to travel around, but he put together an itinerary for our whole stay near Málaga. With a seven-seater rental car, we went to Seville, Granada, Ronda, Nerja, Gibraltar (Atlantic Ocean), and the village of Carratraca to try the local food. We also visited Caminito del Rey (the Royal Path) in the mountains and swam in the clear lakes at El Chorro. It was a much fuller trip than we expected, and we saw so many interesting places. A large Superco is just a two-minute walk away, which saved us time shopping and left more time to relax. We could pick up what we needed before heading to the beach. The promenade is close to the house, about a 5-10-minute walk along a lovely Spanish street, on the second line. The beach stretches along the coast and is very wide, with freshwater showers and drinking fountains. There are palm leaf umbrellas, and you can sit in the shade of palm trees on soft green grass. A metro station, bus stop and another Mercadona are also within a minute on foot. We stayed from September 23rd to October 4th with three couples. I’ve already stayed here before, and I don’t feel like looking elsewhere for future trips. I’ll definitely be back. On our earlier visit in 2018, we found the apartment through Google. The owners were welcoming and clearly explained how to get there from the airport. It was clean, well kept and newly renovated, with a TV, Wi-Fi, fridge, hairdryer and everything else we needed. The three cozy rooms suited six people, and the house was quiet, with no noisy neighbors. We don’t usually cook on holiday, but made our favorite dishes a few times, and the kitchen had what we needed. There was a supermarket two minutes away and courtyard parking for those arriving by car. The sea was a short walk away. Happy to recommend the place to other holidaymakers. Have a nice holiday. with Respect from Anatoly

Gennady met us at the airport and drove us to the apartment. It was clean, with a modern renovation, and lived up to what we’d hoped for. Speaking Russian together made it easy to get acquainted, and he shared information about Málaga’s sights and the routes we went on. He was also available whenever we wanted to call and ask something. He helped us rent a car, and we drove almost 2,000 km to visit six cities. A similar trip through a tour operator would have cost a lot more. We were a group of six on my first trip to Spain, and Málaga was where I first got to know the country. It’s a beautiful city, with a great climate, infrastructure and beaches, and lots of places to explore on foot. We picked the apartment for its closeness to the sea and the good amenities in the area. One of our group had stayed there a year earlier and showed us photos, so we didn’t need much time to decide. The apartment is about 10 minutes by car from the airport and 10 minutes on foot from the sea. Grocery shops, metro and bus stops are close by. It’s outside the city center, which can be noisy, and has three separate rooms, a kitchenette and a modern renovation. I’m very grateful to Gennady for a wonderful holiday and for planning the routes. We came away with lots of memories and positive feelings. We’ll definitely come back, and I highly recommend it!

We spent our evenings in the large living room, talking over the day’s walks, and there were enough beds for everyone across the three separate rooms and living space. The six of us, three couples, stayed from September 23rd to October 4th. We settled in easily, and the girls were relieved to find a hairdryer, iron and all the other amenities. There were even pots and pans, though we never used them. The owner suggested places to see near Málaga and mapped out a tourist itinerary for our entire stay, even though we hadn’t planned to go anywhere. We rented a seven-seater and visited Seville, Granada, Ronda, Nerja, Gibraltar (Atlantic Ocean), and Carratraca, where we tried the local cuisine. We packed in more than we expected, including a trip to Caminito del Rey (the Royal Path) in the mountains and a swim in the crystal-clear lakes at El Chorro. There’s a large Superco supermarket just two minutes away on foot. It made shopping quick, so we could spend more time relaxing and grab what we needed before the beach. The promenade is near the house, around a 5-10-minute walk down a pretty Spanish street, on the second line. The beach is broad and continues along the coast. It has freshwater showers and drinking fountains, plus palm leaf umbrellas, and there’s soft green grass under the palm trees for relaxing in the shade. Within a minute’s walk you’ll also find a metro station, a bus stop and another Mercadona. The owner met us at the airport and helped us reach the apartment, which we especially appreciated. I’d definitely stay here again and will be back.
