The apartment looks nice and has been renovated, but after a week of awful sleep, I can't give it a good review. Noise was the worst part: there is no soundproofing, so street and neighbor sounds seemed to be indoors. I needed noise-cancelling headphones every night. There is also a large open shaft in the middle that brings in lots of light, even at night. If a neighbor turns on their lights, your apartment lights up too, and sleeping without a mask to block it is impossible. The toilet is poorly designed, with glass doors and no ventilation at all, so the smell stays in the apartment. The glass also means your partner can watch you on the toilet.

You can walk to everything from this apartment in the center of Malaga. The bed is only about 30-50 cm from the toilet, and the bathroom is so tiny, unventilated, and poorly closed off that using it comfortably would be hard unless you're with someone very close. There were cobwebs and dust, especially around the AC, and the towels could use fabric softener. The window has absolutely no noise insulation, so it sounds like you're out on the street with other people. There was construction nearby during our stay, and even earplugs didn't let us sleep.

They canceled my booking abruptly just a week before I was due to arrive, saying there was a “technical issue.” It seemed to me they had chosen a longer reservation instead. They didn't offer any alternative, so I had to scramble to find a last-minute solution myself. The lack of consideration and professionalism was disappointing, and I don't recommend them.

The bathroom has no ventilation, and the damp smell spreads through the apartment. The place itself is amazing, with a perfect location and an easy walk to the city center. It would be nice if the owner were more welcoming.
