I had a non-refundable Booking reservation, but a serious family emergency meant I had to cancel my trip. My grandfather was dying in the hospital. After I contacted the property to ask about cancelling without a fee, they told me to cancel through Booking first and said they would consider my request afterwards. Once I did that, they rejected it right away. It left me feeling like I’d been told to cancel so they could avoid the situation and make the room available again. I then asked whether I could move the dates instead, so I wouldn’t lose the money. The property first agreed and said Booking could handle the date change, which they would approve. Booking told me that a cancelled reservation couldn’t be changed. I suggested making and paying for a new booking on another date, while the property approved free cancellation of the original one so neither side lost out. They turned that down, despite having agreed earlier to changing the dates. It was very disappointing to get so little flexibility or understanding at such a difficult time. If something unexpected means you need to change your travel dates, you may lose the full cost of the reservation.

The apartment was charming, just as it looked in the photos, and very clean. I had a great stay at this apartment hotel. The staff replied quickly, communication was smooth, and the apartment had everything I needed. It’s near downtown, with buses 1 and C1 making it easy to reach places like the Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, and Pompidou Center. There are also plenty of supermarkets and small businesses on the same street. I thought it was worth the cost.

We really appreciated the quiet, peaceful neighbourhood, just a short walk from the city centre. The included breakfast at Café Miscotto was very complete, and the owner was incredibly kind. The host also gave outstanding service. Suites Picasso was impeccably clean, with very comfortable beds and pillows, a fully equipped kitchen, and modern, functional decor. A perfect stay for us, and we’ll definitely return.

The breakfast included at the nearby café was great, and the apartment had everything we needed for our holiday. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Malaga.
