Painter's Suites by Hotels with Culture

Our one-bedroom apartment was spacious, very clean, and well looked after, with nearly everything we needed. The rooftop area is great and roomy, and the location is good. Entry to the different areas uses codes, which made it feel secure. There was a bit of noise from the neighbors, but that's to be expected. We had trouble getting in at first because the code we were given was wrong, but we called and they sorted it out. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it.

I booked through Expedia, but Suites Del Pintor emailed me directly, outside Expedia, asking for my credit card details. I didn't send them because sharing card details by email didn't feel safe and I understood it went against Expedia policy. Two days later they canceled the booking, saying they couldn't process the payment, even though payment wasn't supposed to be taken until I arrived, near the end of the year.

Our room had no daylight or fresh air, just artificial light. Its two windows looked onto the reception desk, which is an indoor space, so there was no privacy either. The staff member Sara was particularly rude and wouldn't help us switch rooms unless we paid for a different apartment, while also paying a cancellation fee on the one we had. This was our worst stay.

We only arrived today, but already really like the place. It's clean, conveniently located, and has a city view. They'd thought of lots of useful things, including water, cookies, coffee machine capsules, tea, soap, shampoo, a hair dryer, and even sewing thread. There are two TVs, and all the information is there. Thanks to the owners.
