TOC Hostel Málaga

Everything is within walking distance, and the location is really good. My first room smelled bad, so I asked to move. The woman at reception sorted it out straight away, and the second room was much better. They really should put up curtains, especially in rooms this big. It would make a big difference to the stay.

A little musty smell came from the shower, and the room was only moderately clean. Service was friendly, though, and the location works well for exploring on foot. Mercado de Atarazanas, the Lisboa pasteis de natas shop, and lots of restaurants are nearby. I'd come back if I had the choice. The city street view was lovely. I couldn't tell whether the balcony could hold a person's weight. Watching the rain was so relaxing, and it helped balance out the nightlife noise and the maintenance crew power-washing the streets in the morning.

I met people here two weeks ago and we're still friends. The lobby is warm and friendly, with big windows and room for people to spend time together. The whole place seems to run efficiently. The desk guys were absolute stars, juggling check-ins, getting people into their rooms, serving beers, and doing a hundred things at once. Their recommendations were great. The rooms were clean, the cleaning staff gave wonderful service, and the showers and beds were great. My one complaint is that the bed was so comfortable I sometimes didn't want to get out. A hundred percent all around. These guys knocked it out of the park.

I was really happy with my choice. First time at this hostel, and I was impressed by the tidy rooms and bathroom, the well-presented, friendly receptionist, and the very good price. Only suggestion: guys, please put a hanger in the shower cabin.
