I'll always remember the night and rainy day I spent at Casa da Sebe while doing the Camino dos Faros. It's a beautiful, authentic rural house, cared for with real attention. The homemade food was delicious, and the hospitality was so friendly and helpful. Muchas gracias Emilio!

The house is spectacular and very rural. The owner is such a friendly person and a very good host.

What a gorgeous place, with its rustic design and beautiful setting. The service was excellent too. Congratulations!

The peaceful surroundings are the one redeeming feature, with a beach about a 10-minute walk away and the Camiño dos Faros (Lighthouse Way) right next to it. We rented the whole house for five days, but the owner sat by the door the whole time. It wasn't very clean in general, and the kitchen was neglected, with two filthy fridges. The sink tap sprays water everywhere when you turn it on. The dining room was okay, though the plastic tablecloths felt sticky. The living room fireplace and pool were the best parts, but the 15-inch TV only worked now and then. There was a pool table in the outdoor games room, which the owner let us use free for three days, then got angry and said we had to pay. The bedroom was awful: a broken, patched-up bed frame, old torn sheets, a dirty toilet and sink, and a bathtub that wouldn't drain. After ten years of taking trips to rural houses with the same group of friends, we all agree this is the only one we'd never return to.

There are plenty of rooms, and the house has what you need, but the facilities are poor and there are some really regrettable details, like finding a spider's nest on the table. The landlord lives next door and doesn't give you much freedom. You have to pay to go to bed and keep quiet by 11 pm so you don't disturb anyone. At 350 euros for 24 hours, the price is ridiculously low for a place where you can't do what you want or feel free. I think it's an acceptable house for a pleasant vacation, but it leaves a lot to be desired.
