Hotel Turixant

We arrived on time, but the room was simply not acceptable to stay in. At reception, after we explained the problems, the hotel agreed we could leave and said Booking.com would handle a refund for all 4 nights. Later, they refused to take responsibility, and we ended up with no refund and no service. They kept almost 700 EUR for nothing. I could understand being charged for one night, but not all 4. I chose the hotel because the photos and room description looked appealing, with design details like a stylish bath. The presentation was misleading. A few things may look good in pictures, but the room overall was in very poor shape: outdated furniture, a strong unpleasant smell, no fresh air, and it wasn’t clean.

The thoughtful way they run this beautifully refurbished mill really added to the atmosphere. It’s family run, and the welcome was warm. I came across the hotel during a wonderful cycling stay in Mallorca, and was so glad I did. Service, food, and location were all just right. A memorable place to stay, 10/10.

We loved every minute of our week here, and we’ll definitely come back. The three-course dinner was delicious, with a different menu every day. It’s a lovely rural setting for relaxing and unwinding, while public transport is close and easy to use if you need it. The kindest family runs the hotel, and they helped us with every question and made the stay even better.

The restaurant serves amazing dinners, and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel felt like a great deal. Breakfast did get a little boring after a few days, and you can hear what’s happening in the hallway because the room sound insulation isn’t the best. Those were minor issues compared with the stay as a whole, which was very pleasant.
