Getting around on foot was straightforward, with a short walk from public transport and an easy stroll into town. With a stroller, though, the sidewalks are a nightmare, so it's better to approach from the highway side behind the old castle. Driving was confusing because Google Maps doesn't clearly mark the one-way roads, and you need to come in from the highway, not through town. There aren't any places to eat right nearby, but there's a fridge and microwave in the closet. The pool was pleasant and not too busy, so it was easy to relax while keeping an eye on our toddler. There's a little slide in the green area for young kids, and they have a crib for babies and toddlers.

We've booked rooms here twice at the last minute. The owners were accommodating each time, the rooms were clean and lovely, and the prices were very reasonable. Free parking too. I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms are roomy, the beds cozy, and everything was super clean. The style feels pretty old-fashioned.

A pleasant place, with a simple but good breakfast.
