The apartment had plenty of room, and the beds were softer and more comfortable than I expected. If you visit in cold weather, the heaters work really well. The woman at the front desk was tremendously helpful and professional, and even found us a great last-minute rental car deal. The internet in the rooms was extremely bad. The place also didn’t feel very clean, though I couldn’t identify anything specific that was dirty. Maybe the old, run-down furnishings and fixtures gave that impression.

It’s a handy place to stay if you’re watching your budget. The city is close by, the cleaning staff are punctual, and the staff are friendly. There’s also plenty of space around the pool. We had a few things that made the stay less comfortable. The Wi-Fi was awful and barely usable, and we had ants in the apartment. The bed was very hard, and the towels were poor quality and hardly absorbed anything. Breakfast was pretty basic for the price, so we’d suggest eating in town instead. With more room in your budget, we’d choose somewhere else.

We had a large group of friends and the apartments worked perfectly for us. They were comfortable, spacious and clean, and the location made it easy to reach the bars and restaurants along the waterfront, about a ten-minute walk away. The woman at reception in the afternoons and evenings was so friendly and helpful. She arranged taxis whenever we needed them so we could go exploring. Highly, highly recommended.

Reception were very friendly and helpful, and the apartment had daily housekeeping. Our room was big, with a roomy bathroom and a huge combined dining, sitting and kitchen area. We also had our own balcony, though the view from it wasn’t much. The property’s swimming pool was very clean. It’s well placed for getting to the Port of Mao on foot, and close to the bus stop for Mao Bus station.
