The bed was so comfortable, and the hotel's outdoor areas were lovely, spacious places to unwind. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and made us feel welcome from the start. There was a wide range of well maintained amenities and services, with everything we needed close at hand. A luxurious stay that was five stars from start to finish. Highly recommended.
Puente Romano Marbella felt like a little city of its own, with restaurants, shops, and plenty to discover around the beautiful grounds. Even with heavy rain for both days, and no chance to visit Marbella itself, we had no reason to complain. There was so much to enjoy at the hotel that we were happy to stay on the property. The accommodations were outstanding, and every team member we met was professional, welcoming, attentive, and clearly wanted to make our stay special. It was a magical, fairytale like experience, and we'd highly recommend it. We hope to return with sunshine next time! Sincerely, Carlos and Maria
The pools each have their own theme, including Coya and Nobu pool. The resort also has a very cool gym, a spa from six senses, a tennis club, and a kids club. Staff were always around to help. With its big rooms and spacious garden, the place has the feel of an intimate, luxurious traditional Andalusian village, while still putting you right in the middle of Marbella's buzz. The bedrooms have been renovated and their facilities are very comfortable. A memorable choice for a staycation or to explore Marbella.
The interiors were lovely and the atmosphere was great. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and all the little details felt luxurious. The staff were kind and professional, and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Highly recommended!
Breakfast has also become chaotic after the changes. There are several entrances, and too few staff to seat people, so guests end up standing around. We came back to the hotel and still think the property is lovely, but the changes have really affected the feel of the place. Guests now have to pay €150 a day to sit by the nicest pool. That leaves the two smaller pools overcrowded and full of unhappy guests. The beach isn't very nice and definitely isn't suitable for swimming. There was no warning about the change, which seems to be connected to the addition of the new restaurant La Petite Maison. The pool staff are left having to deal with annoyed guests.
