At Santa Clara Golf, you feel like more than just a guest, and the food is always a pleasant surprise. The service is formidable, whether you’re golfing or dining. With the distinctive surroundings and location, it’s easily the best choice on the Costa del Sol for a golf trip, with the quality and experience to match.

The course is in good condition and well looked after, and the staff out on the course are friendly. The pace of play was managed effectively. Its design offers different kinds of challenges for golfers across handicap levels, and you can walk the course if you prefer, since buggies are optional. The pro shop has the essentials plus a broad, changing range of clothes for men and women. At the 19th, the staff were friendly, the clubhouse was clean and cared for, and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and varied menu. One drawback is that the buggy fleet looks old and runs on combustion fuel, which doesn’t fit the image of an otherwise excellent venue.

The course was in great shape, though a few holes were a little rough around the edges and that didn’t take away from the round. Thomas, the starter, got us going with a good laugh. Afterwards we stayed for a few beers, with the bar and restaurant in a lovely spot overlooking the course. The food was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
