We didn’t stay here, but spent part of the day playing table tennis and had a look around. The parking was convenient, and the Asian restaurant inside was very tasty. A charming Latvian lady-manager helped arrange the table tennis, and we had a lovely chat. We later came back specifically to eat at the restaurant, so we left with a very positive impression.

The gym gets super hot while you’re training because there’s almost no air conditioning. The machines are old, too.

I went to the restaurant at night. It had been completely refurbished and was nicely decorated, with great service and an even better steak, though it was quite expensive. I do like this place, the tennis club, and the hotel, but the room price jumped 220% in just 1.5 years, from around €60 a night to €141. All together, I’d call it a 7+ experience.

The grounds are beautiful and there’s private parking. I enjoyed my stay: the modern room had a minimalist style, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. I recommend it, it deserves five stars.

We told them the night before that six adults and two children were coming for breakfast from 9am, then arrived to find breakfast didn’t start until 10:30am! Later, the children, aged 3 and 5, wanted to play with the bats and ball on the courts. I went to reception with them to get two bats and was charged 10 euros. What a rip-off.
