Breakfast was included, with a huge spread and even cava for making mimosas. Francesco was welcoming and helpful, and we left well fed for a day of exploring. The hotel’s location worked really well, with modern common areas, lots of places to sit, a good sized pool, and a nice restaurant and bar. Our room was spacious and spotless, with the things you’d expect and a few extras, including a sink, fridge, free water, and an iron and board. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were especially helpful, even offering a free umbrella in the rain. I’m sure a very fussy traveller might spot a small fault, but I didn’t. A wonderful three-night stay in March 2026, one of my favourite short breaks.

We spent a week here and had a great time. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean, and nicely done. Breakfast was good, and I’d recommend the restaurant too. It’s well placed, with a supermarket two minutes away and the port and everything going on about a five-minute walk from the hotel. Viktor and Francisco deserve a special mention for their hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Francisco in the dining area brought a lot of warmth to our meals. He was cheerful and attentive every day, and always ready to help. All the staff were friendly and greeted us with smiles, which made a real difference. We also found the Occidental hotel’s facilities comfortable for a family, with a welcoming, child-friendly feel that made the stay relaxing. The location is right in the middle of Puerto banus, which was perfect for us. There were lots of nice staff, especially francisco. The hotel looks recently renovated, and the rooms are kept clean and in good shape. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and included cava. The beds were pretty good too, softer than Spanish beds often are, though still on the firm side.

The relaxed but lively feel and perfect location made for a lovely stay at Occidental Puerto Banús. The staff really added to the experience. Francisco especially stood out, one of the kindest and most professional waiters I’ve met.
