Caution. During my seven-day stay, I found the room cold, dark, and tiny, with no sunlight. It seemed to be about 135 square feet, not the advertised 161, and it lacked the open beams, desk, and chair shown when I chose it on Booking com. Two people with luggage would not fit. There was no hotel staff apart from the cleaning person, and no amenities. The east wall showed signs of mold, I killed a silverfish, and a sewer-like, musty smell meant I bought air freshener and left the window and exterior shutters open at night. The shower leaked into the main room, so even at the lowest flow I had to work out ways to stop water pooling. I also had to find extra toilet paper by chance. The bar and restaurant were closed and dark, and I knew of no hot tub. When I raised the room issue on arrival, management offered another room for the following day, one floor up and reached across a roof deck. I looked at it, but it was much the same and moving there meant more stairs and hassle. On this three-month trip to Spain, one of many I take, I have stayed only in hotels and hostels. I paid more for this room and got less than at any place I have stayed since 2019. After trying without success to negotiate a discount with Booking.com and the proprietor, I felt I had to leave a negative review. Based on my stay, you can't know what room you'll actually get, so be very careful booking here. They need to show the actual room for the price and make sure guests get what they pay for.

Juan made us feel welcome and comfortable, and the room with the hot tub was great value. My partner and I stayed five nights, and the place exceeded what we expected. The room was modern, clean, and really spacious. There is free parking, plus a supermarket about a minute's walk away. The hotel is on the square with a few bars and restaurants nearby. There's not much else around it, though, so I'd suggest hiring a car. The nearest beach is about a 25-minute drive. We'd absolutely recommend it and stay again.

The village is lovely, and the hotel sits right on the main square. There are a few bars serving great breakfasts and dinners, and free parking near the hotel. Our room was small but fine for two people staying several days, and it was cleaned daily. The water had an odd smell, though it wasn't a major issue. Good value for the money, and I'd recommend it.

The rooms are lovely and the hotel is in a great spot, but the shower door wouldn't shut properly and flooded half the room after each shower. The toilet is screened from the rest of the room only by frosted glass, which won't suit everyone. Breakfast was awful. The restaurant at the hotel used to serve it and was a highlight of our trip the year before, but after what seems to have been a change of ownership in recent months, it's closed and the receptionist now prepares breakfast. There were no coffee options or egg dishes, just a few set choices. We got two tiny chocolate croissants heated in the microwave, or two rock-hard bread slices that tasted like flour and water with a little ham. It was the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. We found a nearby hotel where we could eat breakfast very well.

Avoid this place. Lorenzo blocked me on WhatsApp after I complained that our room was cold. He was rude, showed no sympathy, didn't believe me, and wouldn't try to sort it out. We visited in January. I had to suggest moving rooms myself, and the new room was only a little warmer. Both rooms were poorly equipped, with no duvets or way to make hot drinks, and the wool blankets were smelly, stained, and dirty. No kettle, tea, or coffee at all. The hot drink machine in reception didn't work either. Reception was poorly equipped, most of its light bulbs were out, and the snack machine was overpriced. Lorenzo said the machines weren't his and that there were cafés outside for hot drinks. That was rude. The burglar alarm sounded inside for many hours on our last night. Since he'd blocked me, my message about it still hasn't been seen. The company website's description of services at the hotel is full of lies. Shame on you, Lorenzo. Your attitude and way of doing business give hoteliers a bad name. A customer service and property management course would be a good investment for you, greedy man. There are many more quaint, homely places locally.
