I’ve been coming back every two years since the turn of the century, and it feels like visiting family, in a good way. The rooms are clean and have everything I need, the food is good, and the service is excellent. I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for the more elaborate dinners we used to have here.

The seafood around here is some of the best in the world, and there are plenty of nearby bars for decent food. The hotel is clean, close to everything in the area, and has the basic things you need. It’s a typical cheerful budget place, though the irony is that it isn’t all that cheap. Breakfast was pretty weak.

The paella was amazing, absolutely stunning. The staff are lovely and the pool area is great. The place felt really friendly, but Mazagon was dead on Sunday and Monday nights, with everything closed. The bedrooms and bathrooms shown by the booking company looked a lot better than ours, though we were only there for two nights, so it wasn’t too important.
