Salobre Villas

We really felt at home in the villa. It was roomy, beautifully furnished, and looked even better in person than in the pictures. Our three-year-old could run around in the well-kept garden, which had real grass, mature trees, and hedges for privacy, and the pool was just right for splashing. The modern kitchen had a blender, Nespresso machine, kettle, and toaster. Bathrooms came with shower gel, wash, and shampoo, and there was a welcome pack with nuts, dried fruit, and wine. A few small additions like sugar and cooking oil would have helped, since it’s hard to buy small amounts for a week. Some air conditioners were unreliable, especially in our bedroom, though the heat wasn’t too bad as it wasn’t peak summer. We found a few cockroaches indoors despite keeping the kitchen clean and taking out rubbish. There were only a few, and we think the owner tried to deal with them, as we saw some dead ones outside. I’m not sure if the itchy bites we all woke up with were from cockroaches or bedbugs, but they weren’t mosquito bites. It’s a remote location, though our favorite beaches, Anfi del mar and Amadorres, were 20-25 minutes away by car. A great stay overall, and I’d rate it five stars if those issues were sorted.
