The extras other guests mention were nowhere to be found for us, and the place seemed to have gone downhill quite a bit. Sergio communicated well, but only when we asked him to talk to us. Cleaning was very limited: the pans, oven, microwave and carpets were all dirty, and there was damp and mold in the cupboards and on the walls. Reading the other reviews, I wondered if we had stayed somewhere else.

For a quiet break and a chance to switch off, this felt just right. The house was welcoming and clean, with care taken over all the little details, and the hosts were excellent. María Dolores even brought us homemade cake for breakfast. We also found potatoes and eggs from their own farm, which was a lovely touch.
