The tables are nicely spaced in pleasant surroundings in the park. We only stopped for a quick coffee and cake, though, and there wasn’t much choice. The best they could offer was a mass-produced sugared doughnut. Service was quite slow, and getting the bill took longer than I could manage, as is typical in Spanish cafés. I eventually went inside to pay.

We’ve been eating here for over 15 years and love this honest, typically Spanish family-run hotel, restaurant, cafe, and bar. The food is always delicious, whether we choose the Meal of the Day, A La Carte in the evening, or a special events meal. The staff are very friendly too. Since coming out of lockdown, we’ve eaten here twice and were very impressed with how well they followed the Covid rules and hygiene measures.

Everyone had a great Christmas Day here. The setting overlooks the park, and the staff were great. The rooms are spotless but basic. We had a six-course meal and stayed the night, all for a total of €60. We’ve already booked for this year’s Christmas Day.

The food was okay and the €10 price for three courses was fair for the menu del dia. We prefer a leisurely lunch, though, and the service felt very rushed. The staff seemed keen to get us out as soon as we’d finished eating.
