I was there months ago and forgot to write about how comfortable we felt, or how beautiful the valley, village, house, and room were. If they ever sell it, please tell me ☺️

Girasol is in a nice location and the apartment itself is pleasant, but the damp is uncomfortable. There's a dehumidifier in the bathroom, yet you can feel it in the bedroom too. If you're thinking about booking this particular apartment, I'd ask whether they've fixed the issue.

We won't be coming back. The apartment wasn't comfortable even for what we needed, which was just somewhere to sleep. We were six people, staying from the 25th to the 28th, and it didn't really work for a group of that size. The beds were very uncomfortable, the bedding smelled musty, and the worn sofa bed made a lot of noise. Another sofa or an armchair would help, too. Heating was turned on by the owners Friday between 4 and 5 pm, so we were freezing that night. Saturday was fine, but the radiators were off again from 7 pm Sunday. It also needs a thorough clean: there was dust and cobwebs, and some cups and glasses should be replaced.

Thelva and her husband were incredibly kind, always ready to help and make things pleasant. The location suited us exactly: quiet and surrounded by nature, away from the crowds, yet close to every place we wanted to visit. How peaceful it is can depend on the neighbors, of course, and that's outside anyone's control. The apartment was spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for the whole stay. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, and we didn't miss a thing. Our dogs were welcome without any problem. We'd definitely return, and we will. Thanks, guys, and we hope to see you soon 🥰

Jazmin is an attic room, so it could feel cramped if you're tall. We put the girls in the smallest room, which felt like a cave. The dining room worked well, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom was large. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. It's a peaceful, well-priced country house in a fabulous spot for nature watching and hiking. The highway is only 5 minutes away, with Santander, Santillana, Comillas, and San Vicente de la Barquera within 25 km.
