The village atmosphere makes it easy to switch off. I barely checked my phone while I was there, and I can imagine the inn being lovely in autumn or winter as well as summer. Adelina is wonderful, and the old-style house is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, and I might try lemonade instead of orange juice at home. It's a cozy rural stay in the northern mountains, yet still close to everything. Definitely recommended. Greetings from Cuenca!

The owner let us know that the festivities were coming up, and with the stage next to the hotel, a peaceful weekend would have been difficult. She let us cancel for free even though that meant losing the booking. We still have that weekend to spend at this hotel, and we're grateful.

I felt right at home in both inns. This is a lovely little old-fashioned house where every detail feels just right, and pets are welcome, which is fantastic. Adelina is a sweetheart, as are her husband Txelin, who lives in the Puente Romano inn. They're charming people and gave us all sorts of helpful tips for exploring the area. Breakfast was delicious, especially the lemon juice, the best I've ever tasted. We'll be back soon, guys. It was a real pleasure meeting you.
