It looks like a lovely place, but our Sunday evening restaurant booking seemed to have slipped the barman's mind. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't even open, and they offered us a table in the cafe instead. We'd dressed up to go out for dinner, not have a snack, so that wasn't what we wanted. The staff didn't even apologize.

We stopped by on spec for a meal while staying nearby in our motorhome. They were really busy, but found us a covered outdoor table, then moved us inside into the warmth once a table opened up. Thanks for looking after us, and for the great food and service.

The menu del dia was simple, but the food was good quality and very reasonably priced. We arrived late on our pilgrimage and only stayed one night, getting a small discount and a lovely room with a balcony. The old roman bridge is just a few meters away and visible from there. It's a very friendly place, and I'd definitely stay another time.

Really good quality menu for 9,90€, with three or four options to choose from.

A lovely spot on the river, handy for the camp site. Good for catching a sunset or the last of the winter sun.
