Hotel Y Apartamentos Quinto Cecilio

The location is superb, with an incredible view, and the evening receptionist was very pleasant and friendly. I had room 106, with the terrace, view, size, furnishings, and jacuzzi I'd expect from a 4-star hotel. My one small disappointment was the bedding. That's just my opinion, but although the mattress is certainly very large, I didn't find it comfortable.

The hotel is peaceful, and the views from this pretty place are lovely. It's across from Medellín Castle, and the decor is tasteful throughout. My only personal gripe is that the mattress and pillow felt a bit firm.

The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Quinto Cecilio. Highly recommended.

I'd be wary of staying here. I was with a group that had booked the whole hotel, and my room, 104, had no cold water the entire time. This was in August during the third heat wave. I reported it at midday, but by night the water was even hotter, scalding. There was also an agreement for some of the group to have drinks on site and pay for what they'd consumed. When they went to settle the bill the next day, the hotel tried to charge them for bottles they'd opened but not finished. After an argument, the party bill went from €400 down to €150. I don't recommend this place.
