Mesón-Hostal La Cabaña

The tostada con tomate was the best I've had in Spain. After nearly a month on the Camino Mazarabe, I treated myself to a night here and found it very comfortable. The staff were helpful and attentive, and the location is good, with a view over the castle from the room. I'd happily stay again.

Really good value for money. You can leave your car in front of the building and see it from the room window or the cozy balcony. From the balcony there's also a view of the roman theater. The hotel has its own restaurant downstairs, with helpful, nice staff. For a small town, it's impressive to see the hotel and restaurant using digital administration systems. The rooms are clean and have enough facilities and comforts. You may need to shut the balcony doors to keep mosquitoes out. Breakfast was very good, and lunch and dinner at the restaurant are well priced. The portions are big, so if you don't want a lot of food, you might prefer something smaller elsewhere.

A fabulous, peaceful hotel, beautifully clean, with helpful staff and breakfast included. What else could you ask for?

The dining room is spacious, the service is quick, and prices are cheap. There are plenty of typical dishes and menu options.
