Lucia is so kind and friendly, and always ready to help with whatever you need. The house is in a great spot for exploring different parts of the region. It's a cozy little place, with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fantastic garden barbecue. You can tell every detail was thought through.

Merindades is such a beautiful region, with hundreds of villages to explore and all sorts of activities to try. The location couldn't be better, and the little house at the Alcázar was spotless and just as pictured. It was very comfortable, too, and Lucía was always attentive to every detail.
The garden was a lovely treat after a day of sightseeing, with its barbecue and perfectly manicured lawn. We stayed at La Casita del Alcázar while exploring the Merindades region, and it was a fantastic choice. The house is spacious and perfectly equipped, almost like being at home. It's quiet but right beside the historic center of Medina de Pomar, with parking never a problem. Lucía was a delightful host, always willing to help and checking that everything was to our liking. Highly recommended.
We came away with very fond memories after five days in this lovely little house. It was comfortable and well maintained, and our stay was perfect. Lucía was always available and attentive to her guests. Absolutely recommended.
