I’d recommend this place to families, especially those with kids. There are swimming pools, trampolines, chickens and chicks wandering around, and even kitties. The cabin works well for a family of 4-6, with beds and table setups for them. It’s very clean and welcoming. There’s a kitchenette with a small refrigerator that keeps things very cold, a gas cook top, and only a limited number of pots, pans, and dishes. I had fun for a night, but it wasn’t the quiet camping stay I wanted as a single guy. I was hoping for cows, wind in the trees, and chickens. The first night was great, and I liked hearing the trees in the wind and the cows calling toward the next door farm at 7pm. The second night felt too crowded for me, so I left early. It just wasn’t quite my style.

There are good points and drawbacks, so this campsite is hard to rate. The owner called us back after a missed call and let us reserve a spot, and the service was great. The site is close to town, shaded by lots of trees, and the facilities were clean. We also took a great day trip to Cádiz, only a short drive away. Getting in means taking a narrow, steep road. We pulled our caravana with a VW Golf and made it up without much trouble, while a staff member blocked the top of the single lane road so nobody else could come down. Many people there have permanent campers. They’re nice, but the place feels a bit like a caravana graveyard. It gets quiet at midnight, though the rooster crows incessantly early in the morning.

They weren’t friendly and tried to get me to take a bungalow, saying tent camping wasn’t possible. I’m a student and can’t spend much, so camping works better for me. In the end I was allowed to camp, but only with several conditions...

We left less than 10 minutes after arriving. We’d booked a plot with electricity, and the description said the plots were shaded and had views of Cádiz province. There was no electricity, shade, or view.
