Everything matched the description, and the manager was friendly. The place was spotless. We even saw the manager cleaning the bathroom between guests’ showers. There’s a shared bathroom for one person at a time, with a shower, toilet, and sink, as well as a communal area where you can relax instead of staying in your bunk. This was the best value I’ve found on the route from Sarria.

Mariano was so friendly and thoughtful, he really made our stay memorable. The beds have dividers and are spaced out well for privacy. I also loved how clean everything was, probably the cleanest albergue I’ve stayed in on the Camino. The Wi-Fi is super fast, and the bathrooms are nice, with fantastic shower pressure.

Mariano was friendly and incredibly helpful. The albergue was spotless and well equipped, and it’s right in Melide city center, with bars, restaurants, and shops nearby.

The albergue itself is lovely, but the incense burning constantly was overwhelming and gave me a headache. It made it really hard to sleep, and a few others were complaining too. If you’re bothered by heavy incense, you may want to look elsewhere.

Such a clean, comfortable hostel, and Mariano was an incredible host, really nice too. A great place to spend the night if you’re walking the Camino.
