Albergue Montoto

I ended up staying three nights after some unforeseen circumstances, and it felt like home straight away. Over my 2900 km Camino, this was the best albergue I found. Everything is new, clean, and spacious, and everyone is so friendly, helpful, and professional. The Jacuzzi bathtub really helped my leg stop cramping. Sheets and a towel are included too. Loved it!

The tenant was so caring about the guests. I had tendinitis, and they even came to pick me up by car. The place was super clean, the dorms were very big, and there was even a jacuzzi 😀. A thousand thanks and hugs!

It’s sparkling clean, and one of the rare albergues where you can skip the sleeping bag. There are two well-equipped kitchen areas, laundry machines, enough bathrooms, friendly service, a jacuzzi, and a good location. Detergent isn’t included, but you can buy a dose at reception. It felt a little too much like a hotel and had less of an albergue atmosphere, though that’s a minor thing. For food, you can cook there or walk down the street to a menu del dia place/bar with red terrace covers, where a meal costs 10 euros.

Very clean, with kind staff and plenty of room to rest. The beds have lots of space. Excellent.
