Casa Teillor

We came away already hoping to return. Melide is close by, though you’ll need to drive, and has all the basics, from bars and supermarkets to a church. It’s a small town with a lively feel. The house itself was charming, cozy and very clean. The owner was kind and kept checking that we had what we needed. Between the heating and fireplace, we weren’t cold inside. There’s a big grassy yard too, so our furry friend could play without getting away. We spent a few days there over New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. It’s surrounded by nature and wonderfully quiet, so I’d recommend it if you want to unwind without noise. We had an incredible time.

The setting is lovely, and the place has loads of charm. We found it clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The houses share outdoor spaces, including the barbecue area. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it had its own bathroom. The roomy living room and kitchen had a fireplace we enjoyed. An ideal spot to switch off, we’ll be back for sure.

Melide is only a couple of kilometers away and well worth a look, while the large outdoor patio makes it easy to enjoy your time at the house. The owner was very pleasant and cordial, always ready to help with anything, though we didn’t get to meet him in person. It’s a wonderful place for a weekend or a few vacation days when you need a break from routine. Very clean and pleasant, with all the comforts for a great stay. The rural character feels natural and unpretentious, while still being tasteful and comfortable. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely return soon!

The layout is like a duplex, with the living room and kitchen downstairs and bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom. Even though it was cold outside, the place was so quiet and well insulated that the heating made it very comfortable, almost too warm. It’s just five minutes from Melide. This was my first visit, but I’m sure I’ll come back for another little getaway.
