Es Mercadal has a lovely community feel. The kids play football in the square, and there are good shops and cafes around. We stayed four nights at this gem of a hotel. Belén, the charming hotel manager, made us feel welcome and recommended places to visit, things to see, and restaurants. The restaurants she suggested were awesome. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though the rooms at the back are quieter. Breakfast was excellent, looked after by a wonderful señora who also handled housekeeping and cleaned all six rooms.

Belen was a great host and offered plenty of ideas for things to do during our stay. She even lent us a beach umbrella. The room and beds were quite comfortable, and breakfast was a good buffet. The bathroom could be cleaner, though. There were hard water marks and mold from all the humidity.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is right in the centre of a typical Menorcan town. It's a small, select place that offers bed and breakfast only. The room was comfortable, and breakfast was standard local fare. Bars and restaurants nearby have a very local feel.

A good base for exploring the island, whether you're heading to its various beaches or looking for more cultural activities. Helpful, friendly people, a nice breakfast, and a good location. I'd recommend staying here.

A spacious room, excellent breakfast, and a friendly smile when we arrived. It's a great little hotel, clean, quiet, and in a good location, with friendly people.
