Hotel Llucatx Menorca

I booked a couple of days here to rest, and the quiet spot in the beautiful Menorcan countryside was just right. The team running the hotel are so kind and do everything they can for you. They even had daily breakfast on the pretty terrace, an in-room massage, and dinner room service, which was helpful since I didn’t have a car. A real hidden gem. I’d highly recommend it and will be back.

For a peaceful retreat in Menorca, this place is fantastic. It’s a farm setting with peacocks and a pony, and you wake to roosters in the morning. The pool is massive, the design is fantastic and eco-friendly, and the staff are great. Many thanks to Farida and her whole team! Breakfast was great every morning and set us up to explore the island from this good base in the north. Highly recommended!

The gardens and pool are beautiful, and breakfast was delicious, though there was no cooked option. The woman making coffee was lovely and even offered to prepare some early for our departure. The setting and design have a lot of potential, but our stay was disappointing, uncomfortable at times, and very overpriced for the service. We wouldn’t stay again at this price. You really need a car here. The hotel is by a busy road. We couldn’t hear it from our room, but we could by the pool, and there are no nearby shops or services, so planning ahead matters. Some parts seem brand new, while others are still under construction. It’s presented as a boutique agriturismo, but it belongs to a larger hotel chain, which changes the feel a bit. Our room was spacious, but had very few power sockets, limited lighting, and no basics like a bottle opener. The shower design caused flooding and felt like a safety issue. Service was the weakest part. Arrival felt uncomfortable, and we didn’t feel welcome, to the point that we nearly left for another hotel. After check-in, staff were rarely around. There was no welcome sheet with Wi-Fi or local information, no bar or restaurant, and no real service. Elise was lovely by text before our stay and helped us book dinner, but afterwards we barely saw anyone. The overall manager made us feel uneasy rather than cared for. We also witnessed a loud argument between cleaning staff inside our room while we stood outside. It was uncomfortable and not what you expect in a hotel. With better management and hospitality, this could easily be five stars, but the lack of staff, service, and attention to detail let it down.

The room was fantastic, and the swimming pool was Olympic-sized, with lots of comfortable loungers. The atmosphere was great and the location excellent. Ferida, the owner, and all her staff were really friendly and attentive. Our daughter recommended the place, and now we’re recommending it to you, even though part of us would like to keep it a secret.
