4/10
The staff were genuinely helpful and polite, and the location worked well. But I needed sleep for work, and that was tough: the room was 29°C the first night, with no AC until the end of May. Opening the window brought in lorry noise from the industrial estate nearby, especially from 5 a.m. A noisy group of kids also kept us awake over the last two nights. Big thanks to the staff, though.

The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, parking was plentiful, and the staff were lovely. Still, a hotel’s main job is letting you sleep, and I couldn’t. The room was 26° with heating but no usable AC, despite being advertised as air conditioned. I was told to open the window, but the busy road made that impossible. It cooled to 19° by morning, then the trains started. Maybe it’s a lovely place in cold weather, but management shouldn’t blame the weather for not allowing AC.

Helpful staff and a nice room. Shame the restaurant wasn’t open on weekends.

The hotel itself is nice, and the rooms are spacious with a decent bed. Check-in hours are broad, too. But our room stayed around 27°C at night because the AC wouldn’t cool it for some reason. We had the window open the whole time and still couldn’t sleep in that heat.

The rooms are really nice, and the hotel itself is pleasant. It’s set in the middle of an industrial estate, though, and the bar and restaurant shut on weekends, except for breakfast.
