We loved the glass floor where you can see the Roman remains below. The bathroom was modern and spacious, with plenty of hot water, a nice shower, and lots of clean towels and toilet rolls. The TV in both the bedroom and living room and the good storage space were handy, and the paid garage nearby was easy to access with plenty of room to manoeuvre. The street was quiet apart from the construction work. The apartment is modern and has enough space for two, but I wouldn’t want to stay there with more than two. It’s close to the centre, with all the monuments within walking distance, though some are farther away. The little kitchen has a washer, but there’s nowhere to dry clothes. There’s an iron and board, but no drying rack, so the only option seemed to be hanging wet clothes in the wardrobe area. There’s a coffee machine, but the two pods provided didn’t fit. No kettle either, so I had to boil water in a saucepan for tea. The toilet seat was broken and moved around, which made it uncomfortable. The apartment was very clean except for the crockery and the rusty dish drying rack. Everything is handled remotely by app or WhatsApp, which felt impersonal. Our access code didn’t work when we arrived, and calling them after a long journey was stressful. All in all, it was a good experience.
