It's easy to walk everywhere from here, which was the best part. The apartment itself is tiny, basically one long room with everything squeezed together. You're cooking beside the shower, if you can even fit in it, and washing your hands right next to where you sleep. The drains smelled unbearably bad, and neither the extractor fan nor open windows made it go away. Sleeping was almost impossible. The cheap, misshapen foam mattress left my back hurting, the pillow was hard, and both the sheets and bedspread smelled musty. I couldn't sleep more than five hours in a row because of the pain. On the last day, the woman who had checked me in was waiting downstairs for me to leave. She seemed impatient and texted when it was 15 minutes past 11. When I went out, I saw her get out of her car and go inside. She didn't say goodbye or ask whether I'd been all right or needed anything. They should provide more glasses, plates, and cutlery. A couple of each type of towel and extra sheets would also help for stays longer than two full days.

Our apartment was fully equipped and had air conditioning in every room, plus a full bathroom. It was reasonably priced and only about five minutes from the theater. The apartments are large, and close to the theater and amphitheater. The ancient Roman Circus and Aqueduct of Saint Lazarus are nearby too, and well worth visiting.

Paqui, the manager, was friendly and gave me useful advice for getting around town. The mini apartment was small but very well equipped, quiet, and close to both the Roman Theatre and the city center.

The place is fine for a short stay, but it still smelled even with the odor eliminators running. The person responding to Booking.com inquiries was much friendlier than the person handing over the keys. Before we had even gone inside, he kept reminding us that we had to leave by 11 and that he'd be in the apartment downstairs on our departure day.
