The food was homemade and really good, and they served local wine. Service was friendly too. The manor itself has a very elegant, historic feel, with old oak floors and a huge old fireplace in the dining room.

The setting is excellent, and the house itself is beautiful, roomy, and comfortable. It was easy enough to manage, but some basics were missing: no plugs for the bathtubs, not enough towels, very old sheets, and no remote for the TV. The kitchen could use more essentials too. The oven seemed not to work, and the electric oven had no trays. It also feels like the people in charge aren't too eager to spend what it takes to heat the whole place and provide decent service.

The barbecue has no cover, and we found the cutlery a bit lacking, especially knives and spoons. Aside from that, everything was fine. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and there's plenty of room for a big group, including a spacious dining room and lounge. I'd recommend it.

We had a large group of friends there to celebrate my husband's birthday, and choosing this place worked out really well.

After 25 years away, we came back to the house and got such a warm welcome. They even treated us to a lovely new sofa. The pool area has sun loungers and parasols, and everything was impeccably clean. Spectacular.
