We spent four days at camp with children in 1st and 2nd grade. The house and the monitor team are a great choice for schools.

We had a terrible experience and wouldn’t return for anything. During our 13-day stay, we were without water or electricity for seven days. Three days after we arrived, they moved us from the upstairs house to the downstairs one, which was smaller and had much less land. Most of the grounds were also under construction, something we only found out when we saw it ourselves. The food was another serious problem. Children with allergies often couldn’t get a second course, and one of our children had a severe egg allergy reaction.

I’m a teacher, and I didn’t like the experience at all. The rooms were poorly ventilated and opened two hours later than we’d been told. Organization was very poor, and the teachers weren’t looked after. The bathrooms were very dirty and had no hand soap. Teachers had just one bathroom, and it was closed in the middle of the morning. We won’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for summer camps.

The allergy handling was very poor, so check carefully that the food they serve is suitable. Otherwise, things were generally good.
