We really liked the location and the views. The male receptionist and the people working at Zacs bar were lovely, the hot tub was just warm enough, and my 13 year old enjoyed the pool table. The on-site deli was handy, and there’s a BP garage with a Bakery just a three-minute walk down the hill. There are also a traditional Spanish restaurant and an Argentinian BBQ restaurant nearby. Our apartment was next to Zacs bar, and about half of the Ramada apartments were being renovated while we were there. The building work was active, with cement mixers and piles of rubble along the only route to our apartment. I got a chipped piece of tile in my foot and it broke the skin. It may have been quieter because of the work, but walking through demolished apartments didn’t feel or look good. We complained to our travel agent, but they said they hadn’t done anything wrong because no facilities were actually closed.

We couldn't use any of the pools with our baby because the one advertised as heated was cold, and when I called to ask about its temperature, the person who answered just said they didn't know. They didn't offer to find out either. With no sandy beach nearby and a car needed to get around, it was a lot of letdowns for our family holiday. The room was freezing in the child's bedroom, as if the window insulation was poor, so we had to ask for a heater. There was mold on the walls, a musty wardrobe, a dead cockroach in the living room when we arrived, and dark hairs stuck to the back of the bathroom door. On day three we found hard, stuck-on sugar in a cupboard, which seemed to explain the roaches we kept finding beside it. Cleanliness gets a zero from me. The coffee shop only has machine coffee, which wasn't great, though that wasn't a huge issue. The fridge also didn't work, and using the toaster kept tripping the electricity, so I had to reset it three or four times just to make toast. I could complain at reception, but I'm not going to waste my time trying. We came back from a week-long family trip and won't return or recommend this place to friends. Book somewhere else.

The sea walk into Fuengirola is beautiful, and the weather is usually great thanks to the location. We had an easy time getting around with Uber and Bolt, though you can also rent a car for the whole stay since parking comes with the apartments. From Malaga airport it’s about 20 minutes by cab or car. For families, the fully equipped kitchen makes things simple. Ask for one of the newly renovated apartments with a sea view. We had a spectacular stay.

Even on a grey day in February, we could go for a swim thanks to the heated pool in the complex we stayed at. The pools are good, and the accommodation is excellent. We love this place, it's a good spot.

It’s a huge resort with lovely rooms and views, and the staff are friendly. The walk up from the main road takes about 10-15 minutes. Housekeeping could have come round more often, and the bed felt a bit hard to me, but I still had an 8/10 experience 😁
