We liked it enough that we're coming back next week on our way home to Portugal, and it was a big step up from other hotels we've stayed at for a similar price. Juan gave us excellent tips on places nearby for a drink and dinner, and welcomed us warmly when we arrived. The building is stunning, near the top of town, easy to find, with parking close to the entrance. We stayed one night to break up a 12 hour drive, and couldn't have picked a better spot. The room was smaller than I'd expected but perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable, the shower excellent, and though it felt a little chilly when we came in mid January, the radiator was on full and it soon warmed up. Breakfast was sufficient, and the yoghurt was excellent. It leaned heavily toward sweet things like cakes and croissants, though, so it wasn't ideal for me.

We loved the whole stay. It's near bars, restaurants, the botanical garden and the castle, and the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The former convent has been beautifully renovated, with simple rooms finished to a high standard and a stunning dining room and lounge. The linens and towels are high quality, and breakfast is plentiful and reasonably priced.

The building itself is majestic, in a beautiful setting with the Ebro River flowing at its feet. A group of friends and I stayed here two weeks ago, and everything was fantastic. Our rooms were simple and cozy, and the staff made us feel welcome. We'd definitely go back.

We were told the hotel recently reopened with new management. It's in a beautiful historic building, a former convent, with parking and a great location. The value for money was excellent. We came as a group of friends, though it would also be ideal for families or business trips. Thanks to the reception, restaurant and breakfast teams, and the other staff for being so helpful and making our stay pleasant.
