Casa la Cabra

I booked a room at Casa La Cabra at the very last minute, and Steve and Sarah got it ready so quickly. They were kind and helpful, and made my time in Moclín really nice. Thanks again to you both!

Steve was a friendly, helpful host, and the apartment had everything we needed for our one night visiting Moclin. The radiators kept it nice and warm. There were two single beds and even a couple of complimentary beers in the fridge. You can park on the road outside, and it’s only a short walk into the village to explore Moclin.

Steve went out of his way to make sure we had something to eat, which was much appreciated since the shop shuts at 1.30pm and the bar doesn’t always serve food. The apartment itself was cosy, comfortable and lovely, with everything we could need and a nice bottle of wine waiting for us. It’s a great area for hiking or cycling. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed two nights in two apartments. They were clean and comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens, a sofa, table, cosy beds and shower rooms. Steve was an excellent, helpful host, and I had the best sleep I’ve had in years. The complimentary red wine may have helped, too! From a short walk away, there are stunning views of Moclin castle and the countryside. It’s a fabulous place to unwind and a real gem if you’re travelling around Moclin. We’d hoped to walk the trail and visit the castle, but 42° heat was too much. Thanks for making the start of our holiday special. I’d thoroughly recommend Casa la Cabra.
