The room was comfortable and really clean, and the bar food was decent. The staff were nice too, especially Antonio the night Porter, who was brilliant and happy to help with directions or anything else. The pool and bar hours were the main downside: the pool opens at 11am and shuts at 7pm, while the bar opens at 10am and closes by 6pm. There’s no A/C, and hiring a fan from reception cost €20 plus a €10 deposit. It didn’t seem to help much. You can open the windows at night when it’s cooler, but nightlife below carries on until 4am, seven nights a week, so it’s hard to sleep.

The balcony was huge, and the poolside snack bar did Fab meals. The cooked breakfast was 5 ⭐, especially when Zoe was cooking 😁. Our rooms were clean but basic, the staff were friendly, and the holiday felt lovely and relaxing. It’s also a good location for getting around. We’ll defo be back 👍

The staff were incredibly friendly, but getting in and out with disabled access was tricky. You can only enter the building when someone is at reception, and reception isn’t staffed around the clock. The place is basic, with very dated decor, and it feels like little has been invested in guest comfort for years. There weren’t enough kettles for each room, and you have to hire a TV remote. They also ask for a 100€ deposit when you arrive.

I was cold enough in bed that I had to sleep in my clothes. The rooms have no heating, and the swimming pool was very cold too, with no heating. The sunbeds had no mattresses. The location was OK, but I’d only return if it were very, very cheap. For the same price, I found a top-class hotel with a large heated pool, a great room with a walk-in shower, and a great location.

Good value for the price, with a clean apartment, friendly staff, lovely cleaners and a powerful shower. There’s a great atmosphere, and I’d recommend it for families, couples or groups. There are lots of steps down to the shops and restaurants, so I wouldn’t suggest it for buggies or wheelchairs, though that may be true of many apartment blocks around here. One useful tip: prebooking a taxi online saved us €20 to the airport. The taxi from the airport to the apartment was €65, and the one we prebooked back home time was €45. X
