The rooms have all you need, and there’s a lovely bar as well. It’s a really nice place to stay, well run and staffed by very nice people. I’d highly recommend it. February 2026.

The apartments have plenty of appliances and are kept clean, though the showers are tiny. Air conditioning works if you pay the extra fee. But compared with other apartments I’ve stayed in in Gran Canria, this place didn’t feel welcoming, and I was very disappointed. There’s a strong sunbed-reserving culture too. Put your towel on a free bed when you arrive and leave it there for your whole stay.

We hadn’t been to The Monterey since it was refurbished, and they’ve done a great job. The rooms look fantastic, with a kitchenette that includes a hob and microwave, plus top-notch equipment. Nice pool and bar, and there’s WiFi and TV too. A great place to stay.

Loved our stay. The staff are fantastic and nothing seems like too much trouble for them. We’ll definitely be back x

It was quite cheap, but there were communication problems and we didn’t get what we’d ordered.
