Sol Mogan Suites

The pool and outdoor area were great, though the gym could use an upgrade. The apartment was clean, had what we needed, and the service was good. Staff were helpful. It was a good place to stay, but the apartment felt a little small for two and would have been better with more space. The shops, restaurants, and port were a bit out of the way. We didn’t mind the walk, and there are bicycles you can use. The bus and taxi were nearby and cheap enough.

SMS delivered what they advertised. The modern fittings, airy rooms, and cleanliness were all good, and our ground floor terrace worked well for us. The pool, loungers, umbrellas, and garden suited the number of guests. One downside in November was that the garden didn’t get sun until 11 and lost it by 5pm. It’s a good location for visiting Puerto de Mogan, the village of Mogan, and resorts all the way to Maspolmas. The airport is only a 40 minute drive away. You can drive, take a bus, or walk to Puerto, where there are more restaurants than you could try.

The room breakfast delivered each morning is a lovely and very welcome touch. The rooms are clean and well equipped, and the staff are efficient, friendly, and always available for a chat or a hand. The walk down to the beach and harbour is about 2.7 miles, all downhill, with plenty to see along the way and a chance to burn off some calories. It’s such a fabulous, relaxing place. We first stayed for two weeks in March 2025. We got home this morning after 10 nights, and have already booked again for March 2026. Instant relaxation.

The peaceful garden around the pool was absolutely stunning, and you can even pick your own fruit. The apartment was lovely, and the guys looked after us so well, bringing a beautiful breakfast right to our door each morning. I’d definitely recommend these apartments if you’re after peace, quiet, and tranquility.
