The village has lovely local architecture, and the house has a peaceful patio where we could relax. We spent a weekend there and really enjoyed it. It’s a very spacious place that works well for groups. It used to be a Civil Guard barracks, which is where the name comes from. The stairs are steep, though the owner mentioned there’s another way in from the back, which I hadn’t known about.

We were nine people, and everything worked out perfectly. There’s a patio table for meals, and the kitchen has all the equipment you need. The house stays cool and comfortable, with a bathroom in each bedroom plus another shared by everyone. Thanks, Amparo, for being so hospitable and providing such a lovely house.
