Pensión Benavente

The owners were warm and helpful, and I slept really well. For the price, it's a very good place to stop during a trip. The private rooms have air conditioning and a fridge with a freezer, while the bathrooms are shared and very clean. I hardly saw anyone while I was there. There's a spacious shared terrace for smoking, eating, or just sitting around, plus a kitchen guests can use. Street noise comes through the windows a bit, though the area is pretty quiet. I had no trouble and would give it five stars for the price and what it provides.

The welcome was incredibly kind, and they were always ready to help if anything came up. My friend and I booked a room at Benavente on the spur of the moment, and we'd happily return. We felt at home straight away in the cozy, clean room, which had a mini-fridge with juice boxes. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, including a microwave, kettle, oven, tea, and coffee. They also put out little croissants and muffins. You can do laundry, and the bathrooms are clean and get cleaned every day. I especially liked the terrace for eating.

Our dog suddenly got sick and needed emergency care, so we turned up very late on Friday without a reservation, upset and worried. The host, who speaks perfect English, was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, clean linens and towels, a table and chairs, and a fridge stocked with juice, water, and snacks. The kitchen and bathrooms were just as clean. There's a large, lovely terrace with outdoor seating. The room was a fantastic price, much cheaper than other places to stay in Moncofa. It's also easy to walk to the beach, with lots of shops nearby. I can't recommend it enough, 10000/10.

The location was a long way from the beach. The hosts left before I could meet them, the mattress was awful, and the bathrooms were filthy and frightening. Breakfast was just a boxed juice and a muffin.
