Hotel Restaurant Guilleumes

We found the town charming, and the free parking right by Guilleumes Montserrat was a nice bonus. From the hotel, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the rack railway, which goes straight up to the sanctuary. Arriving late, we were glad the code-based self check-in was so convenient. The rooms are simple and basic, but work well for a short stay. In the morning, there was a pleasant surprise of juice and sweet pastries.

There’s a lovely view from the windows, and the location is quiet. The owners also left thoughtful treats, including coffee, apples, juice and cookies, and the service was really nice. It was impressive and considerate of them. Finding the entrance at night wasn’t very easy, but the place was definitely worth staying at!

The owner was such a great person. It was very hot, so he picked us up from the train station without us even asking. He also helped us sort out another situation. We loved the room and everything about our stay. Thank you 🙏🏼 It was the best service I’ve ever had in a hotel or hostel.

The owner was especially great about service. Even with a busy schedule, he always replied to our questions very promptly. There are also many free parking spots along the street by the hotel. The bedrooms were very clean, and the bed was one of the best, with super clean, hotel-standard sheets. There’s a mini fridge in the bedrooms and common area. Daily housekeeping feels rare these days, but this small hotel keeps everything clean. Snacks, coffee, tea, fruit and fruit juice are available in generous amounts at the common counter. We were amazed by the excellent service here. Strongly recommend staying here for a visit to Monsterrat and Manresa.
