We had a lovely meal at a good price, served by such a welcoming staff in a place that feels genuinely friendly. The setting is brilliant and the view is stunning. It feels like a real break from the coast, though Tarragona is still close on one side and Lleida and Poblet are within reach on the other. I only wish I’d had time to stay another night.

The mountain and sea views were breathtaking, and there are well-kept hiking trails all around. We only stayed one night, which felt far too short. The staff were incredibly kind and had food ready when we arrived late after our car broke down. They helped us with everything we needed. The homemade food was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. We loved the terrace and its little fountain, and they were so fond of our dog that it could wander around freely. Definitely recommend it.

The room was clean and just right, with good heating, hot showers, and spectacular sunrise views. The owner runs both the hotel and restaurant, and her hearty cooking made us happy every night. She was warm and helpful too, suggesting the best things to see in Mont-Ral. Staying there felt like coming home, and this little town is well worth enjoying.

After cycling up the mountain, we arrived absolutely hungry. The food was really nice, the service relaxed and friendly, and the view spectacular. We wished we could have stayed overnight. Thoroughly recommended.

The home-cooked food was delicious, and meal times were flexible, which was especially handy when coming straight in from the mountains. We got a very warm welcome at this small, family-run hotel.
