A Bouza

We loved being surrounded by nature, and the view from our room was amazing, with the sea visible through the trees. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included, so we asked whether they had anything vegan. They brought out what was available, including their homegrown tomatoes and jam, which we really enjoyed trying.

The house and its setting are glorious, impressive, and have a mysterious charm. The view is incredible, and it’s amazing value for money. I’d definitely like to stay here again!

The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade kiwi jam, which was a 10/10. The scrambled eggs were very good too, and they have oat milk. Our table was already reserved when we arrived in the dining room, with a homemade cake waiting for us. Ana, who checked us in, was incredibly kind and helpful. We spent a night here with our dogs and had a fantastic time. It’s pet friendly, and you can see how much they care about animals. The place feels magical, tucked into nature, and it was easy to disconnect completely. Everything was spotless, from the sheets to the towels, and it all smelled wonderful. We’d definitely stay again if we return.

The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. We came looking for somewhere to relax and found a little paradise overlooking the Pontevedra Estuary, beside the Columbus Forest with its hundreds of sequoias, and close to beautiful beaches. The renovated century-old house still has its original charm. The mattresses were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and homemade, with high-quality food. The apple pie and jams were lovely, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The woman who greeted us was incredibly kind. What a wonderful stay, highly recommended.
