I was in the area for a wedding and only needed a room for the night. I arrived a little late, and some friends who were meant to stay at another hotel were with me. The staff were so kind and helpful. They let us use a larger room for the same price so we could all get ready quickly for the wedding.

The owners are friendly and happy to help, and the price is great for what you get. Rooms are simple and roomy, very clean and airy, and stay naturally cool even in the middle of August. Breakfast costs an extra 3.50 euros. That's fine, though it wasn't anything special. A really nice little hotel, quiet too.

The owners were warm and attentive, always smiling and sharing great recommendations. We slept comfortably at the grandmother's country house, where we had delicious homemade meals each day, with plenty of variety and local ingredients. It made a fantastic base for discovering Soria. We visited Tiermes, Berlanga del Duero, Burgo de Osma, the Caliphate fortress of Gormaz, Ayllón, and lots of other charming villages and hidden gems, all very close to Montejo de Tiermes. We also explored the history of the Iberian Peninsula in this corner of Soria, and had breakfast and dinner there every day.
